Upon my arrival at Wasps I was given the opportunity to create a gym space that I had always wanted to work in. Having visited and trained in many gyms around the world I had a pretty good idea of the kind of working space that I wanted to create. A gym for me has to be able to stand the test of time. I am not one for gimmicky trends that are so often pushed on environments and believe a gym should be a space that, regardless of program, should be able to cater for any program or vision.

Rubicon Sports was the first European company working in the UK that I became aware of that supplied the highly regarded PowerLift strength and conditioning equipment. The choice of this equipment has proved itself over the last 15 years, the equipment is durable and remained current in it design and function.

I have used Powerlift products (supplied through Rubicon) for 5 years now have never been disappointed. Following a very professional fit out and after care I have found the quality of Powerlift still beats anyone else out there. Built to the highest quality, they will last far longer than the competitors and are built with the user in mind. I have experienced a full array of their platforms and benches and their robustness and quality means they still look and operate excellent condition, even after high use.

When setting up our strength and conditioning facility, I wanted our athletes to have access to the finest equipment available that would allow us to deliver the widest range of training inputs, in the knowledge that the equipment would stand up to everything our athletes would throw at it. Power lift equipment was the obvious choice, being the premier product in the industry and I can’t be more pleased with our decision.
