Upon my arrival at Wasps I was given the opportunity to create a gym space that I had always wanted to work in. Having visited and trained in many gyms around the world I had a pretty good idea of the kind of working space that I wanted to create. A gym for me has to be able to stand the test of time. I am not one for gimmicky trends that are so often pushed on environments and believe a gym should be a space that, regardless of program, should be able to cater for any program or vision. The Tendo Unit easily hooks to the barbell, plate stack or athlete and measures velocity in meters per second up to a 2.6 meter range of motion. If the proper mass of the barbell or the athlete has been entered into the microcomputer, the unit gives power out put as well as velocity measurements.
