Upon my arrival at Wasps I was given the opportunity to create a gym space that I had always wanted to work in. Having visited and trained in many gyms around the world I had a pretty good idea of the kind of working space that I wanted to create. A gym for me has to be able to stand the test of time. I am not one for gimmicky trends that are so often pushed on environments and believe a gym should be a space that, regardless of program, should be able to cater for any program or vision. Ivanko Dumbells
With so many cheaper dumbbells, the environment is just too testing. After a very short period of time the rubber will chip, crack, break and deteriorate. The handles will become loose and only tightening by gym staff every day will prevent the handle becoming unworkable. Whilst cheaper rubber dumbbells will be fine for personal and low use environments, a very hard wearing dumbbell like the Ivanko dumbbell is the only “Rubber” solution for heavy use commercial environments.
